We have over twenty years experience of delivering a wide range of heritage-related musical activities. We have a wealth of knowledge about music and the wider arts of the Medieval, Renaissance and Restoration eras. We can provide musical entertainment for historic themed weddings, corporate events, museum and heritage days as well as historical fayres.

Our clients include the following:

Our work with Dr David Starkey, The British Museum, The National Maritime Museum and The Fitzwilliam Museum, along with many other regional centres of culture, has given us the experience to not only play but to talk informatively to the general public.

Whether it is a re-enactment, new exhibition, historic anniversary or school visit, our live music with period costume and instruments will set the scene effectively. We will work with the curators and museum staff to create a welcoming and educative event.

The sound of early music in a castle or historic building creates a wonderful atmosphere. Whether it is for a historical fayre, corporate event or for a wedding, we will provide authentic entertainment. They can provide fanfares and processional music as well as background music.

For outdoor music we play the shawm, rauschpfife, bagpipes, long drum and tabor. And for indoors, we offer the romantic sounds of the lute, viol, harp and recorders.

At all events, we can also offer an introduction to medieval dance, allowing for audience participation if desired.

The wide diversity of our music along with the large number of instruments we play, guarantees a rich tapestry of sound.
